Laurie was born and raised on a beef cattle farm in Madison County, Virginia, learning the importance of a strong work ethic growing up. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Virginia Tech, and went on to embark on an entire career in customer service, which parlayed into real estate.

After purchasing her second home in 2016 (she bought her first house in Glen Allen at age 25), Laurie decided to pursue her passion for the business, transitioning real estate from being her side passion to her full-time profession. Laurie has not regretted a minute – she loves helping people reach their real estate goals! Jessie was affiliated with another brokerage firm before joining The Hogan Group, which provided the team environment she desired. She became fascinated by real estate while in the process of buying her first home. “I so much enjoyed the time I spent with the agent, viewing homes, and learning about the market, I quit my job after closing and became a licensed realtor, to provide the same stellar service to others.”

Even in her prior careers as a commercial lines insurance customer service rep, and in hospitality managing a family-owned bar, Jessie had a drive to make sure clients were fully satisfied. This is why she has loved every minute of handling client relations for her team.

Born and raised in Mechanicsville, Jessie graduated from Marshall University. She is married with a daughter and dog named Mr. Sprocket. Jessie volunteers every year at the Richmond Folk Festival, and does volunteer work for FETCH a Cure. Her hobbies include painting, yoga, and learning about wine and cheese pairings!

As a native of Richmond, Virginia, Micah Allen has always enjoyed showing off the city to out-of-town family and friends. To make their stay extra special, she's been known to put together guides highlighting unique features of the Greater Richmond area. "I think exploring and showing people around my favorite areas is probably one of the ways I felt drawn to real estate." 

Micah was born in Richmond, then spent her high school years living in mountainous Southwest Virginia in Lynchburg. She studied broadcast journalism at Radford University and briefly lived in New York City after graduating to pursue media internships. "I fully intended to stay in NYC, but during a visit with family over the holidays, I was impressed with how much I saw RVA growing and decided to stay." 

Before Micah began her real estate career, she worked in both non-profit and corporate sectors, serving in various marketing communications roles that included coordinating newsletters, website development, advertising campaigns, fundraising activities, and event planning. In 2015, Micah's good friend and top producing real estate agent invited her to assist with marketing at her brokerage. She later joined a top real estate team as a transaction coordinator, facilitating numerous property listings and closings over the years, and eventually becoming a licensed REALTOR in Virginia. 

Today Micah enjoys meeting new people and helping them meet their real estate goals, whether buying or selling property. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, decorating, cooking, discovering local art, restaurants, and farmer's markets, and exploring RVA's nature trails with her husband and her Yorkiepoo. 

Matt is a lifelong Richmond resident. Matt grew up in Hanover where he graduated from Atlee High School. Matt then attended VCU and graduated with a degree in history and a Master’s in Teaching. During this period Matt lived all around the Richmond area, falling in love with its various neighborhoods and local restaurants.

After graduating, Matt taught at George Wythe High School in Richmond’s Southside and at Highland Springs High School in Henrico’s East End. Matt was an accomplished teacher and coach throughout his years of teaching, helping his student athletes win numerous awards and state titles. The most important and fulfilling part was watching hundreds of these young men and women go off to college or trade schools and blossom into adults.

Matt has been a realtor since 2015, first with another local brokerage, leading an award winning team and gaining vast amounts of experience and knowledge of the local real estate market. I was born in Virginia, grew up in New England, and moved back to Richmond in 1990 where I received my degree in Dental Hygiene from VCU. I practiced Dental Hygiene for over 24 years but due to health issues decided to change my career path to one I love - helping people buy and sell homes! After working for a large brokerage in Richmond and being involved in real estate for many years - from acting as a general contractor while my personal home was being built, to owning investment properties - I am excited to be with The Hogan Group where our reach to help people has no boundaries. When I am not working, I love to travel and spend time with my family - my three children Daniela, Kayla and Zander, and two, four-legged friends, Pluto and Gus!

Ashlee was raised in Bedford County, VA, and earned a Bachelor's of Science in Biology from Longwood University (so she really understands that love and appeal to small town living). She has spent the past 10 years teaching Biology in Chesterfield County, and decided that now was the time to pursue her love of real estate. Carrying over her teaching skills into the real estate market, Ashlee is fantastic with organization and attention to detail, and can think quickly to solve any problems that come along the way. Mcanalle Neal was born and raised in Charlottesville, Virginia. He graduated with a Communications degree from East Carolina University in 2008.  He spent  12 years in office equipment and IT sales before getting into Real Estate. He and his wife used the Hogan Group for their own home purchase in 2018 and were thoroughly impressed with the efficiency and customer service they experienced. During the buying process, their realtor and friend planted the seed to Patrick that his personality and skill set would be perfect for real estate.

His passion for this city and helping people have made this one of the best decisions of his life.  Outside of real estate he enjoys golfing, snowboarding and spending time with friends and family.

Gerri is a Richmond native, and has spent most of her life in the RVA area. Stepping away for an undergraduate degree at Old Dominion University, she missed her hometown and quickly returned after graduation. She then obtained her graduate degree in Social Work from VCU and worked as a resident director. Here, she fell in love with helping students turn their dorm rooms into their “home away from home”. With a clinical social work background of over 13 years, her approach is always client centered and enjoys helping others reach their goals. 

 She started real estate as an independent agent in 2018 and enjoys working with first time homebuyers, investors, military relocation, sellers and investors just to name a few. Since joining The Hogan Group, Gerri is excited to expand her business and build new relationships. She uses her active listening skills to advocate and negotiate on behalf of her clients.

Born and raised in the Richmond area. Went to Liberty University and graduated with a bachelor’s indigital media. Just moved back to the Richmond area after 3 years of living in Lynchburg. I worked for Chick-fil-A as a marketing director leading up to my transition into real estate. I got married to my beautiful wife in 2019 and we recently built a new construction house in our hometown of Mechanicsville and loved the home-buying process.

After talking to a lot of people who have bought and sold their houses I kept hearing that their real estate agents weren’t always the friendliest or were not very good at communicating. I would hate for people making one of the biggest decisions of their life to not have a good experience. That is why I got into real estate. Dominique has grown up and lived in Chester most of her life, so she is especially familiar with Richmond and its surrounding areas. She is a Radford University Graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies. Born and raised in Rochester, NY Carrie took a leap of faith and moved to Richmond in 2013. Her love and passion for the city and surrounding areas has since grown.  

From early adulthood Carrie had an interest in real estate. Hi! I’m Paul Logan. I was born and raised in in Jacksonville, FL. I mostly attended private schools and graduated from Bishop Kenny High School. After some time in college, I enlisted in the Marine Corps. During that time, I graduated from the Technical Imagery Analysis Course at the NGA Fort Belvoir, VA. As an Imagery Intelligence Analyst, I spent majority of my time in the Asian Pacific participating in exercises and operations. Molly grew up in Waynesboro Virginia, just over the mountain from Charlottesville. While growing up she always had a fascination with real estate. She went to college at West Virginia University, where she studied Political Science and History. After graduating, she spent time in Washington D.C. While in the nation’s capital, she gained experience in the marketing field.
